		<description>CNBC has been steady in calling a bottom since last October, seemingly acting as a shill for their advertisers.  Of course, they have been wrong and will continue to be wrong for the foreseeable future :)

I would be very worried about the 47% of VC&#039;s looking for a mild and short recession. It&#039;s wonderful to be optimistic but better to be pragmatic. Clearly, these VC&#039;s do not have an understanding of the big picture from an economic viewpoint. Perhaps they are watching CNBC for their financial news?

This is one of my favorite economic blogs. The subject today is California, so may have some real interest since many VC&#039;s are based here. I&#039;d suggest that readers would find much to gain by perusing past entries in this blog.
