It does not need direct sunlight as it will capture diffuse light even on cloudy days. It then uses light fibres to pipe this daylight to where you need it in your building, lower level or inner core of buildings &#039;where the sun don&#039;t shine&#039; or cannot be reached by conventional skylights and other means. In capturing the visible light spectrum, all UV and IR is left outside so their is no heat gain / heat loss in the building and harmful UV rays are also left outside.</description>
